- This module covers the fundamental techniques of acting for the screen, emphasizing body language, facial expressions, and vocal projection. Students learn to adapt their performances for different camera angles and shots. Differences between television, the silver screen, and small screens are explored to tailor performances appropriately.
- Acting with Camera
- Practical sessions focus on acting in front of the camera, including blocking, movement, and maintaining continuity. Students practice working with various camera setups and understand the technical aspects of screen acting. The distinctions between acting for TV, film, and stage are examined, highlighting the unique challenges and techniques for each medium.
- Acting and Editing for Continuity
- This module highlights the importance of continuity in film and television. Students learn techniques to maintain consistency in their performances across different takes and scenes, as well as how to collaborate effectively with editors. Understanding how different platforms (TV, film, web series) handle continuity is essential for a cohesive performance.
- Use of Script
- Students develop skills in script analysis, memorization, and delivery. The module covers techniques for breaking down scenes, understanding character motivations, and delivering lines authentically. Emphasis is placed on the differences in script usage between stage and screen performances.
- Character Development
- This module focuses on creating believable and consistent characters. Students explore various methods for character development, including research, physicality, and emotional depth, to bring their roles to life. - Improvisation for Screen

- Screen Acting Workshop

- Final Project
- For their final project, student groups will create a short TV drama, encompassing acting, directing, writing, and other production aspects. Equipment and post-production facilities will be provided by the institute to ensure a professional learning experience.
Course Duration and Flexibility – The Certificate in Professional Acting course spans six months. To accommodate the diverse schedules of our students, we offer flexible class options, including both weekend and weekday sessions. Students can choose the schedule that best suits their availability.

Industry Opportunities – IMPAS is committed to bridging the gap between education and the industry. Under the IMPAS umbrella, we have our production company, “IMPAS Productions,” which produces tele dramas, films, and other media projects. Our students have the unique opportunity to participate in these productions, gaining invaluable on-set experience. Additionally, we have extensive industry connections and actively introduce our students to key figures and opportunities within the entertainment sector. Many of our graduates have successfully secured roles in the industry, with some achieving high positions and receiving prestigious awards.
Applicants must be 17 years or older and possess basic acting skills. A screen test will be conducted to select suitable candidates.
All participants who complete the course will receive a recognized certificate, affirming their skills and training in professional screen acting.
